That was the text asking if I would be his date …
He took me to King’s Fish House — my absolute favorite restaurant. He knows how much I love seafood and this restaurant has become “ours”.
This is where he took me last year and made us official.
I gotta admit — it has been one great ride. Over dinner, he mentioned something about people’s needs only being food, shelter, sex and companionship… after much discussion, we concluded that there needed to be fire. I said, “I think we have fire”, he said “really?” I said, “yeah we have so much we keep getting burned” he agreed and said “and we keep coming back” and gave me a kiss.
He’s only romantic on certain days. I welcome all occasional romantic notions — because it’s those times I really do feel like the Queen he has pegged.
